XAVIER SILVA
Xavier Silva, 62, of Texas City, passed away 15, January, at UTMB in Galveston.
Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Saturday, January 25, 2014, at EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City. Visitation will be 12 P.M. to 1 P.M., Saturday, January 25, 2014 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City.
Xavier Silva was born August 18, 1951 in Brownsville, Texas. Mr. Silva worked at Moody and Cotton Compress in Galveston, Texas. Mr. Silva was known for his passion for music. He grew up playing guitar in his family church and shared his talent by teaching the guitar. Later in life he became known as a great guitarist. Mr. Silva started his own band and joined other bands as well.
Mr. Silva is preceded in death by his grandmother Francisca Hill.
Survivors include his parents Juan and Francisca Silva his wife and mother of his children Patricia SanchezSilva brothers Robert Silva and David Silva sisters Olga Rodriquez, Nancy Trevino, Alicia Garza and husband Nick, Frances Silva, Janie Rodriquez and husband George and Angelica Silva and husband Luciano his children Rosalie and Alan SilvaStevenson, Aaron and Elisa Silva, Paula Silva and Champ Smith, Little Patricia Silva grandchildren include Kendal Lyons, Alana Stevenson, CaiLa Humphrey, Adam Stevenson, DeMya Alexander and Champion Smith his beloved companion Irma Rodriquez and numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Dad will be remembered most by his humorous personality. Anything you would say to him turned into a comical joke. He was a loving caring dad, son, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend. And will be dearly missed.
