William Eixman

William D. Eixman, 86, of Texas City, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016 at his residence.

Graveside services will be held 12:00 p.m., Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Forest Park East. Visitation will be 5:00 - 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City.

William D. Eixman was born October 25, 1929 to Otto and Velma Lee Eixman near Oenaville, Texas. After graduating from Rosebud High school he moved to Texas City in 1948. In 1949 he began a long and distinguished career with Texas, New Mexico Power and Light until retiring in 1994 to begin his lifelong dream of Cattle Ranching. He was born and raised in the Lutheran Faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Barney Ray Eixman; sister, Doris Lee Costa; first wife, Artie Eixman and wife Delores Eixman.

Survivors include nephews, Kenneth Costa and David Costa; niece, Lynn Cable; stepchildren, Vickie Brown, Teresa Greenwald, Cindy Farmer and William Brocker; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren other relatives and friends.

The family would like to show a special appreciation to Beverly Victoria and family for the wonderful care and friendship over the last several years.
