Wayne Gundermann

Wayne Gundermann, 60, of Center, Texas, passed away Monday, April 6, 2015, at St. Luke Health Memorial of Lufkin.

Memorial services will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Emken Linton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 13th at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City. Rosary to follow Visitation at 7:00 p.m.

Wayne Gundermann was born June 23, 1954, In Texas City, to Walter Gundermann, Jr. and Dorothy LaCombe Gundermann. He graduated from Texas City high school and was employed with Tyson foods as a Truck Driver. He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Center, Texas. Wayne will always be remembered for his wittiness.

He is preceded in death by mother, Dorothy Lacombe Gundermann; grandmother, Kathryn Gundermann Carlin; grandfather's, Walton Gundermann, Flournoy Carlin; cousins, Danny and Ronnie Gundermann;

Survivors include his wife of 33 years Karen Zwahr Gundermann; daughters, Kayla Gundermann, Kelly Trevino; son, Wayne Gundermann, Jr.; father, Walter Gundermann, Jr.; sister, Dianne Incalcaterra and husband Artie; brother, Walter Gundermann III and wife Joan; grandchildren, Michael, Sydney and Jonathon Trevino, Brooke May, Kaylie Gundermann, John and Hayley Hardage; great grandchildren, Joshua James, Kaden Jacee, Kyle Trevino; numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and many friends.
