Wayne Blakeway

Wayne Tiny Blakeway, 68, from Sante Fe, Texas went to be with his Lord on Friday, June 1, 2012 at Clear Lake Regional Hospital. Tiny was born in Houston, Texas on November 5, 1943 to Vivian Records Blakeway and George Blakeway. He was preceded in death by his father and his stepfather, James Lee Roy Hollan.
Affectionately known as Kruschev in high school, he graduated from Texas City High School in 1961.
Tiny was a partner in Equipment Group, Ltd., located in South Houston, Texas.
He is survived by his mother, Vivian D Swain his son, John W. Blakeway daughterinlaw, Vivian Blakeway two grandchildren, Nicholas and Heather his sister, Linda Hollan Sitton brotherinlaw, Russell C. Sitton a nephew, Stuart Scott Kacy and a niece, Erin C. Kacy. The family would like to express our deepest gratitude to S. Scott Kacy, M.D. for his years of medical care for Tiny and Gail Cousins for her love and support.
Visitation will be Monday, June 11, 2012 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. A memorial service to celebrate Tinys life will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at 6:00 P.M. at EmkenLinton Funeral Home.
The family also request that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shriners Hospital for Children and the Salvation Army.
