Warren Reeves

Warren Clay Reeves of Dickinson, Texas, passed away on December 29, 2016 at his home, surrounded by his family, after a long struggle with COPD.

Born January 15, 1959, Clay is survived by his wife of 39 years, Toni Reeves, and their children: Jason Reeves and fiancé Jessi Jacobs of Baytown, Jakob Reeves of League City, and Shellie Reeves Alley, husband Billy Alley and grandson, Quinn Alley of League City. Clay is also survived by his sister, Lisa Reeves Stephens and brother in law Roger Stephens, along with numerous nieces and nephews, sisters in law Rikki Block and Rene McCulloch, and in laws Gail and Jerry Gillard of Texas City.

A life-long resident of Galveston County, Clay had a long career with the INEOS Chocolate Bayou plant in Alvin, Texas, where he proudly and passionately served on the Emergency Response Team, as well as being Captain of the Fire Brigade, assisting the INEOS business, as well as the surrounding community. Clay was quick to jump to aid, whether it was a neighbor in need, or a head on collision on the highway near the plant.

Clay loved hunting and fishing and the woods were his favorite place. He was always quick with a smile or a laugh, and we miss him greatly.

A celebration of Clay's life will be held on his birthday, January 15 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City. Family visitation will start at 1:00, followed by the service at 2:00.

In lieu of flowers, Clay would have appreciated your support of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation at www.firehero.org
