Wanda Parnell

Wanda Lee Parnell, 85, of Texas City, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 13, 2015.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 16, 2015 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hayes-Grace Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City.

Wanda Lee Parnell was born April 14, 1930 in Gholson, Texas. She and her husband owned Parnells Bait and Tackle on the Texas City Dike.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Parnell and daughter, Karen Edwards.

Survivors include son, Jamie Parnell; daughter, Mynon Ball; grandchildren, Steve Ball, Matt Ball and wife Denise, Brittany Parnell, Amanda Parnell and Mynon Parnell; great grandchildren, Elissa Parnell, Riley Ball, Raegan Ball, Chloe Parnell and Preston Gray; nephew, Robert Doyle White, other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
