Virgil Boyle Jr.

Virgil Davis Boyle, Jr., 82, of Texas City, passed away Friday, February 8, 2013, in Clear Lake.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 P.M. Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Emken Linton Funeral Home in Texas City, with Johnny Angel officiating. A Burial will follow the service at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, TX. Visitation will precede the service from 12:30 P.M. to 2:30 P.M. Wednesday, February 13, 2013 also at Emken Linton Funeral Home.

Virgil was born on April 13, 1930 in Texas City, Texas. He was a retired truck driver and owned J I Grocery for 30 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil Boyle, Sr. and Iola Ingraham brother William Boyle sisters Jessie Albrecht and Mary Ingraham.

Virgil is survived by his wife of 56 years Marilyn Boyle, sons Virgil Boyle III and Jonathan Boyle daughters Venita Jones and Mary Walker 10 grandchildren 12 greatgrandchildren numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.

Pallbearers are Josh Belland, Phillip Walker, David Walker, David Tillman, Jimmy Boyle and Edward Diaz, Jr.
