VERA JEAN WELCH FARMER

Vera Jean Welch Farmer, 72, of San Leon, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013 in Houston surrounded by her loving family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 16, 2013, at EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City.

Vera was born September 8, 1941 in Harlingen, Texas to L. B. Welch and Gladys May Vickers. Vera worked as an accountant for several years.

Vera is preceded in death by her parents and her son Jack Lee Webster

Survivors include her husband Wade Farmer, daughters Tracy Feibelman and Margo Webster, sons Todd Zimmerman and Jessie Farmer. She is also survived by her grandchildren Austin and wife Amber, Haley, Spencer, Murphy and Ember Lee. Vera is also survived by her great grandchildren Aidyn, Astyn and Ava Lee, Sister Susan Thorne and husband Bruce, brother Bill Welch and wife Carrie. Vera is also survived by numerous cousins and friends and will be greatly missed.
