Vennie Bryant, 94, of Texas City, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2013 in Texas City, Texas.

Services will be Wednesday, at 2:00 pm, August 28, 2013 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City. Visitation will be from 1:00 200 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas.

She was born on August 17, 1919 in Walker County, Georgia.

Vennie is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Bryant son, Ray Bryant and daughters Ernestine Larsen, Nancy Van Duyn DeTorre granddaughters, Glenda Brown and Shannon FisherKellogg and great grandsons Parker and Braedyn McDaniel.

She is survived by her son Melvin Bryant daughters Pat Tommy Killian Myra John Arevalo Sandy Fisher, Marilyn Bryant, Teresa Bryant and Kathy Tommy Schanzer. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Killian Tommy Schanzer John Arevalo Dustin Love Jason Schanzer Wes Brown and Stephen Wilson
