TOMMY GARNER

Tommy Garner, 85, of Texas City, Texas, passed
away Thursday, February 13, 2014 in Texas City,
Texas.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday,
February 18, 2014 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in
Webster, Texas. Visitation will be 5:00 7:00 p.m.
Monday, February 17, 2014 at the funeral home.

Mr. Garner was born September 3, 1928 in
Belleville, Arkansas. He was retired from the City
of Texas City as a mechanic. He was a loving
husband, father and grandfather and loved his
garden.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John
Thomas Garner and Margaret Moore Garner his
two sons, Jimmy and Paul Garner.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Acele
Garner three sons, Gerald Garner, Terry Garner
and Tommy Garner a daughter, Shelley Garner
three brothers, Ray Garner, Bobby Joe Garner
and Lloyd Wayne Garner two sisters, Gracie
Wilson and Ann Stevens thirteen grandchildren
twenty seven great grandchildren four great
great grandchildren and numerous nieces,
nephews other relatives and friends.
