TERESA ANN CAULK PRYOR
Teresa Ann Caulk Pryor, 58, resident of Clear Lake, was chosen as the perfect flower for the Lords garden on February 26, 2014, at St. Johns Hospital in Clear Lake, Texas. She was surrounded by her devoted husband, family, and friends as her thirteen year battle with cancer ceased.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Tuesday, March 4th at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Clear Lake. Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Pryor will be from 57 PM Monday at the EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City with a Celebration of Life service at 7 PM. There will be an additional visitation on Tuesday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church from Noon to 1 PM prior to the funeral.
Mrs. Pryor was born in Galveston, Texas on the 3rd of June, 1955, to James Persell and Catherine Rose Caulk, deceased. Teresa attended Sam Houston State University and received a Bachelor of Science Degree on August 17, 1980. She was married to Thomas Claude Pryor, Jr. on April 28, 2001. Teresa spent her short time on this Earth to the fullest. Her creativity, curiosity, and courage led her to accomplishments that made her so uniquely special to everyone she encountered. Even as she was undergoing treatment for cancer, she devoted her time volunteering in numerous activities at church and with special needs children through Special Olympics events. Her caring gentle nature was further felt by all Gods creature, especially her love to her pets, who will miss her deeply. She always had a beautiful smiling face, a bubbly disposition and she could keep everyone laughing for days. Teresa had many titles and nicknames, but the one she cherished the most was the name and title of Nanny.
Teresa is survived by her loving husband, Tom, his parents Thomas C. Pryor, Sr. and wife Jimmie Ruth three adoring sisters and their spouses, Roseanna Mae and James Gibson, Patricia Jo and David Norris, and Jeannette Marie Caulk sisterinlaws Judy Pryor, Marilyn and husband Clay Perry her angelic daughter, Erica Paige and husband Bruce Cote and her darling granddaughter Ella Kate Cote. Teresa was honored to be the loving second Mom to son John Pryor and daughter and spouse, Lauren and Andy McNanny, and daughter Sheri Kucera and Nanny to Haylie and Brennon Pryor and Otto Kucera and endearing delight to numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
