Sherry Baker

Sherry Joan Baker, 68, of Kemah passed away on Saturday, April 27, at Methodist Hospital in Houston.

At Sherry's request, no services will be held. Please remember her in your own way.

Sherry was born February 24, 1951 in Selma, Alabama. She worked for American National for over 30 years, and loved to garden and travel, especially to the United Kingdom and Walt Disney World.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Arvie D. Baker, as well as her parents, Arbra and Joyce Barfield, and her in-laws, James and Inez Baker.

Survivors include her son, Joshua T. Baker, and her daughter-in-law, Helen Hurn; her brother, Jim McCoy and his wife Sandra; her brother-in-law, J. D. Baker, and his wife Shirley; and her sister-in-law, Dorothy Baker and her wife Katherine Daily.
