Shay Alan Barger, 41, of Texas City, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014, in Texas City.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 11, 2014, at EmkenLinton Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5:008:00 p.m., Friday, October 10, 2014 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City.

Shay was born June 13, 1973 in Texas City, Texas. He was an Optician Assistant. Shay loved life, his friends and music.

Survivors include his parents, James and Pat Barger grandparents, Duane and Sheila Barger sister, Shana Barger nephew, Lennon Barger.
