Scott Henderson

Scott Greer Henderson, 40, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2012. He was born on December 15, 1971 in Texas City, TX to Clint Sonny Henderson and Virginia Ginny Henderson. Scott is preceded in death by his father, Sonny. He is survived by his grandmother, Doris Henderson, mother Ginny Henderson, brother Steven Henderson, sister Camille Parker, niece Kaelyn and husband Emmitt, and nieces Kayla, Kira, Emma, and Trinity and an extensive extended family.

Scott enjoyed life to the fullest and always seemed to have a smile on his face. He brightened the lives of so many people that to this day most all of them still call him a true friend. Of all the things he enjoyed, baseball was his first love. He was an extremely talented and fierce competitor. Later on he came to enjoy softball and played on too many teams to count. Another one of his great loves was his beloved family in Austin, Texas. They added as much joy and happiness to his life as he did for them, with enough memories and stories to last a lifetime. Although the world is a little less bright without him, we will all be that much better for having him in our lives.
