Sara Hayles

Sara E. Hayles, 92, passed away Tuesday, March 31, in Houston.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City. Burial will follow 12:00 p.m. at Galveston Memorial Park.

Sara E. Hayles was born November 19, 1922 in Mobile Alabama. She was a member of Aldersgate Methodist Church, Telephone Pioneers of America, AARP, and a past member of the Pioneers Camping Club for about 15 years, traveling to all 50 states and Canada.

She is preceded in death by husband, Foster J. Hayles.

Survivors include daughter, Cynthia Connor and husband Ron; son, Steven P. Ellis and wife Jodie; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
