SANDRA JOY SIMMONS

Sandra Joy Simmons, 75, of Texas City passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held 5:00 p.m. Saturday, November 16, 2013 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Sandra was born July 17, 1938 in Texas City, Texas. She was retired from UTMB and was an avid alumni of Texas City High School class of 1956.

She is preceded in death by her parents Samuel Berry Hanna and Hazel Agnes Hanna her sister Betty Lou Robb.

Survivors include her daughters Angela Kay Pagel, Shelly Joy West and Jennifer Lyn Cox her sister Glenda Kay Sanders her grandchildren Brittany Pagel, Amanda Poole, Hayden West, Rachel West, Zachry Cox, Sara Cox and KayCee Cox great grandchildren Chase, Javonne, Addisyn, XZavion and Malia her constant companion Lucky numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
