San Dennett

San Juanita Dennett, 77, of Texas City, passed away after a lengthy illness Monday, January 11, 2016 at Kindred Hospital of Clear Lake.

Funeral services will be held 2:30p.m., Saturday, January 16, 2016 at St. George's Episcopal Church in Texas City. Burial will follow at Forest Park East. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00p.m., Friday, January 15, 2016 at Emken Linton Funeral Home in Texas in Texas City.

San Juanita Dennett was born in San Benito, Texas. She worked in the advertising department for the Texas City Sun.

Survivors include sons, Robert William Dennett, Jr. and wife Mary Lou; daughters, Juanita Dennett-Unruh and husband Mike, Eufemia Mayes and husband Alfy and Tiffany Dennett and husband Bryan Smothers; grandchildren, Kristin Mayes, Alfy Mayes Jr., Daphne Mayes, Seth Dennett, Jeremy Smothers and Timothy Smothers; sisters, Mary Garcia, Jazmyn Bower and Dorothy Barboza.
