RONALD RONNIE DOBSON

On April 18, 2014 our Daddy left this world after a long illness. He went peacefully in his sleep with both of his daughters and a granddaughter holding his hands.

Ronnie was born September 11, 1943. He was preceded in death by his mother Iona Pearl Shaw, his father, Eddie Dobson, a daughter, Ronda Dobson and a brother, Robert Dugon Dobson.

He is survived by his special other half, Carol Dobson, his daughters, Rechelle Tackett and Renee Reid four grandchildren, Carolynn Dobson, April Anderson, Clinton Reid and Arron Tackett. He also had one great grandson, Damien Day Day Dobson. He also had his special little furry friend Sassie Girl. His brothers and sisters, Sonny Dobson and wife, Jean, Tiny Sommers, Jeanie Barnhill and husband, Durlin and Tommy Shaw and Lou Ann and numerous family members that loved him very much.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 23 from 6PM 8 PM at the EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City. The family has chosen to have a private funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, condolences can be sent to the family through EmkenLinton Funeral Home.
