Robert Padgett

Robert (Bobby) Edward Padgett, 88, of Hempstead, Texas, passed away Friday, March 8, 2024, in Katy, Texas.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 25, at Galveston Memorial Park.  

Bobby was born May 28, 1935, in Savannah, Georgia, to Henry Edward Padgett, Sr. & Gladys Lucile Howard Padgett.  He was a retired self-employed Architect and talented artist. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and served in the Korean War.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Edward Padgett, Sr. & Gladys Lucile Howard Padgett; sisters, Shirley Padgett and Margaret Ann Padgett; niece, Vicki Whittington; and brother-in-law, D.B. Whittington.   

Bobby is survived by his brother, Henry Edward Padgett, Jr. (Mary); sister, Joan Padgett Whittington; nephews, Bruce Whittington, David Whittington (Lori), and Chris Padgett (Bethany); nieces, Melissa Padgett and Deborah Whittington; as well as extended family members and wonderful friends and neighbors.
