Robert Nelson

Robert Marshall Nelson, 79, of Katy TX, passed away Friday, March 13, 2020, at home.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m., Thursday, March 19, 2020, with a visitation from 11:00 – 11:30 a.m., at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City, Texas.  Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, TX.

Robert was born on December 18, 1940 in Norwood, OH.  He was a farmer, investment counselor, avid walnut tree enthusiast, manager and a member of the Freemasons.

Survivors include wife Patricia, daughter Summer and son Robert. Surviving grandchildren are Alexis Waugh, Madeline Nelson, Jacob Nelson and Mia Waugh.

Pallbearers are Robert Nelson, Jacob Nelson (honorary), Jesse Lopez IV, Jesse Lopez III, Josh Lopez, Gilbert Martinez, John Waugh, and Gerry Martinez.
