Robert Mcginty

Bobby McGinty, 64, of League City, Texas, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018, at home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., January 12, 2018, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City. Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery in Silsbee, Texas, the following day.

Bobby was born July 20, 1953 in Silsbee, Texas. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Texas City.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John Walter McGinty and Maxie Palmer McGinty.

Survivors include brothers, John Walter McGinty, Jr. (Rickie) and Charles Rhett McGinty (Carolyn), sister Marilyn McGinty Schertz (Stuart), various nieces and nephews, foster family members Tommy Land, Rita "Toni" Land and Tara Harvison.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Arc of Texas or Texas Special Olympics.
