Robert Bouvier

Robert F. Bouvier, 71, of Lunenburg, Massachusetts passed way Sunday, March 4, 2018 at his home in Texas City.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 10, 2018 with a visitation from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., at Emken Linton Funeral Home in Texas City

Robert was a long-time resident of Texas City for 50 years. Robert was first stationed in Texas City while serving in the Marine Corps. Robert honorably served his country for four years in the Marine Corps and soon after he started a 30-year career at Amoco Oil in Texas City. He was a Board Member of the American Legion Post 89. He enjoyed the simple things in life like landscaping, working puzzles and drinking Miller Lite.

He is preceded in death by father, Francis G. Bouvier; sister, Kathy Thomas and stepson, Robert W. Long.

Survivors include mother, Josephine Bouvier; his loving wife of 25 years, Grace Bouvier; sister, Susan Berger; children, Robert, Michelle and Johnathan Bouvier; step children, Karen, Carol and Tammy; 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and best friend of 40 years, Emmett.
