DOROTHY PERREN

Dorothy Perren, 82, of Texas City passed away on April 17, 2014 at Cornerstone Hospital in Clear Lake.

She was born on February 24, 1932 in Navasota, Texas to Stanley and Ester Ginglewood.

Her fond memories were camping with the Good Sams Camping Club, fishing and going to a casino. Her special memories were the times spent with her family, especially with her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Stanley and Ester Ginglewood, beloved husband of 55 years Billy Perren, children Jackie Wayne Perren and Karen Radler brothers Albene and Stanley Ginglewood and sister Mary Ann Coomer. She is survived by her daughter Connie Chuoke and husband Mitchell, grandchildren Erica Brown and husband Travis, Mitchell Chuoke lll, Joseph Radler and wife Yuliia sister Pauline Ulikie and husband Raymond brother Robert Ginglewood bother in laws Ronnie Perren and wife Connie sister in law Wanda Coombs and husband Guy and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, April 21, between 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 6:30 p.m. at Emken Linton Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, April 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Emken Linton Funeral Home with Deacon Joe Hensley officiating. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock.

Pallbearers will be Mitchell Chuoke lll, Joseph Radler, Travis Brown, Guy Coombs and Kevin Husband. Wesley Perren Sr. will serve as honorary pallbearer.
