Pamela Evans

November 28, 1942 — April 3, 2012

Pamela Evans

Pamela Smith Evans, also referred to as Granny, stepped gently over into heaven on April 3, 2012 surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
Pam was born on November 28, 1942 in Houston Texas.

The one thing she treasured and was very close to her heart, was her family. She loved them all, dearly. She cherished every moment she spent with them, whether it was through visiting, going out to eat or shopping. She was an amazing lady. Our One In A Million. She was our angel, sent from God. She was never too busy to spend time or help out in any way she could. She was always there. Our love for her will never end. She will be greatly missed.

She befriended everyone she met. Despite her health issues she could still always make everyone laugh with her funny stories and crazy antics. She also loved spending time with her dear friend of 40 years, Myra Goodman.

Pallbearers will be Ossie Matthews, Ralph Huston, Robert Lawrence, Richie Herrington, Bobby Garcia, and John Lawrence.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Sara Anthony Smith and Marion Flake Smith, as well as her loving husband of 25 years, Holly H. Evans Jr.

Left to cherish wonderful memories, are daughters Allison Morgan and husband Danny, Angela Thompson and husband Charlie, Richie Hamilton and wife Dana and Coty Evans and wife Tonya. Grandchildren include Nicholas Morgan, Sara Morgan, Kristopher Thompson and John Hamilton. She also leaves behind her older sister, Elizabeth Chiles and niece Melissa Welch.

A celebration of Pams life will be held at Emken Linton Funeral Home on Saturday, April 7, 2012, with a visitation at 9:00 A.M. with the service starting at 10:00 A.M.
