OTIS LEE CHAMBERS

Otis Lee Chambers, 74, of Dickinson, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2014, at his residence.

Funeral Service will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, April 7, 2014 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at HayesGrace Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 7:00p.m., Sunday, April 6, 2014 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home.

Mr. Chambers was born May 13, 1939 in Galveston, Texas. He graduated from Ball High in 1957. He worked as a Federal Grain Inspector, later becoming an Environmental ER Responder and Consultant with Garner Environmental until death.

Our father was a friend to all and had the gift of gab. He will always be lovingly remembered as Dubie Dubie, Coach or Odie Comodie. He was an avid sports fan, following his grandkids and greatgrandkids across the country. Mr. Chambers enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing golf and watching the University of Houston Cougars football team.

Preceded in death by his parents, Charles Otis and Leola Mae Chambers.

Survivors include his sons, Mark Chambers and wife Sandy, Randy Chambers and wife Renatta, Timmy Chambers and partner Bill Bartos daughters, Kim McWhirter and husband Allen, Kathy Danesi and husband Anthony grandchildren, Stewart and Katherine Stathakos, Carley Albright, Casey Albright, Amanda and Keegan Wagner, Jacob and Mara Danesi, Louis Danesi, Ellen Danesi, Lathan Chambers, Ainslee Chambers, Mark Chambers, Jr., Chelsey and Kody King, Abigail Chambers, Brooklyn Chambers, Madeline Brocklehurst stepgrandchildren, Daniel and Kassi McWhirter, David McWhirter, Dean McWhirter, Brian and Veronica Crippen, Sean Chippen, Ashley Caulk, Candy Mueller, Melody Mueller, Dixie Mueller 11 greatgrandchildren numerous nieces and nephews mother of his children Carole Ann Chambers companion Dee Hayes.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Danesi, Allen McWhirter, Stewart Stathakos, Jacob Danesi, Louis Danesi, and Lathan Chambers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wayne Churchill, Emmette Golden, Jr. and Blaine Nix.
