The Good Lord has called our loving mother, Oralia C. Ramirez to join her husband, son and grandson in eternal peace. Born on November 20, 1923, in Del Rio, Texas and passed away on May 24, 2017, in McKinney, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Inocente and Delores Cervantes; husband, Juan Ramirez; son, Juan Ramirez III; grandson, Christopher Ramirez; five brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by daughters, Gloria Ramirez of Houston, Texas and Cecilia and husband John Parker of Fairview, Texas; sons, David and wife Teresa Ramirez of Manor, Texas and Michael Ramirez Parker of Frisco, Texas; Daughter-In-Law, Jackie Ramirez of Round Rock, Texas; one brother, Richardo Cervantes of Martinez, California; three grandchildren, Shelbi, John Jack Michael of Round Rock, Texas and Jason Ramirez of Houston, Texas; four great grandchildren, Vanessa Allen, Ashley Moore, Amanda and Samantha Petitto; four great-great grandchildren, Taylin Leeann Allen, Kynslee Jo Moore, Braylee Michelle Moore and Kabe Alexander Moore; one cousin and many nieces and nephews.

Oralia was a homemaker raising four children while also working at the Holiday Inn in Texas City. She will always be remembered for her wit, singing, laughter, kindness and devotion to her family, church, and friends.

Funeral mass services will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 30, 2017 with a rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City.
