O.J. Robinson

Opal J. Robinson, 87 of Texas City, Texas was born November 6, 1934 in Cushing, Oklahoma to William and Cleo (Howard) Holland and passed away on August 29, 2022.

She enjoyed the outdoors tending to her gardens and yard, sewing, cooking, reading magazines, antique shopping, socializing at the Texas City Historical Society and watching her favorite TV program "Gunsmoke". She loved her family and spending time with them.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Robinson, Sr.; children, Robert Robinson, Jr; Teresa Alvers; Jerry Milton, Mary Jo Brayshaw and husband, Lynn; Mark Eaton and wife, Kay and Kelly Vernon and husband, Scott. Also, 14 grandchildren including: Billie Jean Scott, Brandy Crumpley, Robbie Bayless, Jeremy Eaton, Dustin Knight, Kenney Overturf, Brittany Reiter, Meagan Turney, Jimmy Overturf, Rachel Milton, William Eaton, Isabella Milton, Riis Milton, Lucas Eaton and numerous great-grandchildren and other family members. She is preceded in death by her parents and her 2 brothers, Pinky Holland and Billy Holland.

The family will be receiving guests Friday, September 2, 2022 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home from 5:00pm until 7:00pm.
