Norman Mckee

Norman T. McKee, 81, of Texas City, Texas, passed away Wednesday, July 03, 2013 at Gulf Healthcare Center in Texas City, Texas.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 6, 2013 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home with Dr. Robert Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2013 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City, Texas.

Mr. McKee was born February 11, 1932 in Gastonia, North Carolina. He has been a resident of Texas City for 40 years. He was a Pipefitter and retired from Monsanto and Sterling Chemicals. He loved gardening and wood working.

He is preceded in death by his sons, Norman Tony McKee and Jessie Lester Capps.

Survivors include his wife, Lillie McKee a daughter, Diane Lopez and husband Joe his sons, Mike Robinson and wife Diane and Stephen H. Capps his grandchildren, Stephen Vaughn Capps, Bobbie Jo Bridges, Andy Capps, Shawn Capps, Shannon Capps, Shelley Friend, Jason Murphy, Aaron Lopez, Brian Lopez, Kelley Klein, Sherry Capps and Tracy Ray: and numerous great grandchildren other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are Stephen Vaughn Capps, Shannon Capps, Jason Murphy, Aaron Lopez, Brian Lopez and Tim Klein. Honorary pallbearer, Andy Capps.
