Nora Biscamp

Nora Biscamp, 68, of Santa Fe, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Memorial Herman of Houston.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 26, 2016. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City.

Nora Biscamp was born on January 27, 1948 in Louisiana. Nora is survived by her husband, Byrum Biscamp of 52 years; her son, Lee Biscamp; daughters, Sherrie Biscamp and TJ Biscamp. She was also survived by her brother, Bill Brandon and his wife Anna Mae from Oklahoma and her sister, Nancy Moreau of Santa Fe, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her father, Steven Brandon and mother Belle Brandon, her brother, Stephen Brandon Junior; her sisters, Betty, Pat, and Margaret of Louisiana.

Nora was a wife that loved her husband very much. She was also known to be a very strong, caring, loving, giving person and also very stubborn at times, she was known to many as Mom and Genny and Nanny. Blood never mattered to Nora, if a kid needed something she took them and treated them as her own. Family was the most important thing to mom. Her pride and joy were her grandkids and great grandkids.

Nora only had one goddaughter named Jamie and she was her Nanny. Nora had many grandkids as listed below Jesse, Alexa, Josh, Jacob, Jordan, Caelob, Justin, Caeson, Caedon, Natalie, Jaelee, And Hannah. She also had many great grandkids as listed Belle, Makenzy, Demii, Jaelynn, Drake, Emma, Luke, Paisley, and her love muffin, Trae...

She had many more kids she considered her grandkids but the list would never end I'm sure they all know who they are.

Nora was a fighter, she lived, she loved, she left her foot print, she was here and although she is gone she will never be forgotten.

Pallbearers will be James Moreau, Jacob Biscamp, Caelob Carter, Justin Alvarez, Bay Ray Alvarez and Kyle Ferrell. Honorary pallbearers are Darrell Johnson, Caeson Carter, Drake Biscamp, Luke Biscamp and Joshua Biscamp.
