NADINE RAMZY

Nadine Ramzy, 89, of Texas City passed away September 23, 2013, at Kindred Hospital in Clear Lake.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 28, 2013 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City. Burial will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas. Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 28, 2013, at EmkenLinton Funeral Home

Nadine was born on December 31, 1923, in Orchard, Texas to Leston Emil Wall and Rosa Beulah Demny. Nadine was retired from Monsanto as a Human Resources Supervisor. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church where she served as pianist and was a member of Business and Professional Women.

She is preceded in death by her husbands Arthur Drachenberg and Carmel A. Ramzy her parents, Leston and Rosa Wall her brother, Bert Wall and her granddaughter, Carrie Carlstrom.

Survivors include daughter, Phyllis Herrington and husband Perry of Pearland, Texas son, Austin Ramzy, Jr. and wife Linda of Clive, Iowa. Grandchildren Tiffany Murrhee Blake Murrhee wife Melody Austin Ramzy III. Anne Ramzy and Darcy Powers. Nadine is also survived by her great grandchildren Christopher and Brandon Murrhee Emma and James Powers, and by her sister Ethel Patterson of Seguin, Texas, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
