MARIO R. MIRANDA, JR.

Mario R. Miranda Jr., 16, of Texas City, passed away Monday, May 26, 2014 at UTMB Galveston.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2014 at St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church in Texas with Father Tom Ponzini officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2014 at St. Mary of the Miraculous Catholic Church and a Rosary will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Mario Jr. was born February 26, 1998 in Galveston, Texas. He was a sophomore at Texas City High School. He attended St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church for his Religious Education Classes. Mario Jr. liked hanging out with his friends, loved spending hours playing video games and going out to eat with his family.

He was a quiet and calm person that could just listen and let anyone vent with their problems. Being the youngest of three siblings he was loved by his family and loved by so many friends.

Survivors include his father Mario R. Miranda Sr. and his mother Hilda Miranda His older sister, Neida Miranda and Lilia Miranda His Grandfather Rodolfo Miranda His Grandmother Luz Castro numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, his Godparents, relatives and many friends.
