Margery Massey

Margery Massey, 97, of Texas City, formerly of Timpson, Texas was born September 2, 1924 in El Dorado, Arkansas to Frank and Rosalie (Whittier) Prycer and passed away on June 20, 2022.

Margery was a devout catholic and very active in her church, she enjoyed sewing, quilting, and gardening. She loved people and always on the go. She also enjoyed playing dominoes and bingo.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Charles Massey whom she married in 1941; her parents; her sons, Charles Massey, David Massey, Philip Massey, Paul Massey Sr and Joseph Massey and her brother, Jimmy Prycer.

She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Roberson; daughter in law, Laura Massey; sister, Beth Miller along with 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and other family members.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 24, 2022 at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be held 12:00 p.m., Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Timpson, Texas.
