Manuela Castro

Manuela Castro, 67, of Texas City, passed away Friday, June 15 in Galveston.

Funeral services will be held 10 AM Tuesday, June 19 at St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church in Texas City. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be at the church from 9 AM until service time.

Mrs. Castro was born Feb. 1, 1945 in McAllen. She was a homemaker and loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Jose Angel Castro daughters Irene Buenrostro and husband, Ray, and Debbie Castaneda brothers Matias Tito Melendez, Jr. and Reynaldo Melendez sister Juanita Victoria and grandchildren Victoria Buenrostro, Daniel Buenrostro, and Michael Castaneda.
