LAWRENCE MONROE PRAESEL

Lawrence Praesel, 85, of Hitchcock passed away peacefully surrounded by his family into the arms of his Lord and Savior Tuesday, October 7, 2014 in League City.

Mr. Praesel was born September 12, 1929 in Cameron,TX. He retired from Monsanto as a Chief Operator. Mr. Praesel was a former charter member of the Bayou Vista Baptist Church. He lived his last years enjoying life on the water in Bayou Vista.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Praesel.

Survivors include his son, Stan Praesel daughter, Carol Mayne and husband Jim sister, Mary Bounds grandchildren, Melissa McDonald and husband Kevin, Beau Mayne and wife Kristi greatgrandchildren, Caden McDonald, Alexandra McDonald, Tristyn Mayne, Victoria Williams and Aleiha Williams.

A private family celebration of life was held October 8, 2014.

In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Ronald McDonald House in Galveston.
