LAWRENCE PHILLIP FAIRCLOTH, SR

Lawrence Phillip Faircloth, Sr., 85, of Texas City, Texas, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at First Baptist Church in Texas City. Masonic graveside services will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City.

Mr. Faircloth was born October 14, 1928 in Grubbs Arkansas. He was retired from Texas City Refinery as a pipefitter. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Texas City and a member of the Texas City Masonic Lodge 1118 A.F. A.M. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army in Korea.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Faircloth.

Survivors include his sons, Troy Lee Faircloth and wife Odilia and Phil Faircloth daughter Anita Fay Faircloth two brothers Boyce Clay Faircloth and G.C. Faircloth four grandchildren, Jeff Faircloth, Kim Faircloth, Bryan Faircloth and Melody Faircloth Nurre and husband Tim nine great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be members of the Texas City Masonic Lodge 1118.

In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to First Baptist Church 1400 9th Ave. North Texas City, Texas 77590.
