Lannie E. Watts

Lannie E. Watts, 78, of Texas City, Texas, passed away Friday, January 3, 2025 in Friendswood, Texas.

Lannie was born October 6, 1946, in Start, Louisiana. He was a Texas City firefighter for 25 years. After retirement he decided he wanted to travel, and travel he did all over the United States in his 5th wheel.

He is survived by his partner of 24 years, Mary Rowe. He also leaves behind his sons, Donnie Haney (Susie) and Joshua Watts (Celia) and a daughter, Crystal Watts.

Affectionately called Papa, he leaves behind 5 grandsons and 5 granddaughters. They will remember his kindness and love for them.

Private services were held in care of Emken-Linton Funeral Home.
