Julie Ewing

Julie Lois Ewing passed away on December 21 in Austin, TX. Julie was born on March 19, 1956 in Texas City, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents Ralph Sr. and Connie Minor. She is survived by brothers Ralph, Perry, Kenneth (Kim), Patrick, and Robert, daughter Janelle Drury and son Matthew Ewing, as well as grandchildren Aidan, Kyan, and Torin Drury.

Julie is best remembered as a loving, generous, fun and beautiful mother, wife, sister, aunt and friend. Of her many gifts were a tremendous smile and an infectious laugh. For many years she lived overseas in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia - raising a family with former husband William (Bill) Ewing. A free-spirit who thirsted for new experiences, she led the family on travels across the Middle East, Europe and Asia. Her most cherished destinations were the beaches of Corfu, Greece and Phuket, Thailand - creating memories with her family that she held closely for the rest of her life.
