Julia Berg Noles, 94, a longtime Galveston resident, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013 in League City.
Services will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday, January 12, 2013 at First United Methodist Church in Texas City with Rev. Michael Holcomb officiating. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock. Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., Saturday, January 12, 2013 at First United Methodist Church.
Julia was born November 20, 1918 in Galveston, Texas. She was retired from UTMB, was active in the Crockett Place United Methodist Church and was past president of the United Methodist Women at Crockett Place United Methodist Church as well as being past president of the Business and Professional Women.
She is preceded in death by her husband Mack Noles.
Survivors include her daughters Maxine Townsend and husband Jim of La Marque, Sherilyn Linton and husband Emken of Texas City brothers George Berg of Texas City and Ernest Berg of Spring sister Lorraine Bertolino of La Marque grandchildren Carrie Camp and husband Guy of La Porte, James Townsend and wife Tammie of League City, Fred Linton of Dickinson, Emken Linton Jr. and Jennifer Eggleston Linton of Friendswood 9 greatgrandchildren 6 greatgreat grandchildren numerous nieces, nephews and other friends and relatives.
