JULIA FERGUSON

Julia Ferguson, 89, of Texas City passed away Saturday, October 12, 2013, in Texas City.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 14, 2013 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Ferguson was born November 19, 1923 in Lamar, Colorado. She retired from Century 21 Sunrise Realty. She was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church. She had a ceramic shop, where she also taught ceramic lessons. She had a Seafood Restaurant in Hitchcock called The Sportsman on the Bayou. She loved to water ski, dance and plant flowers. She married the love of her life, Hap Ferguson and now she has gone to be with him in Heaven. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her son Toby Mahle and wife Ruby, of Nederland, Texas a daughter Lynn Koepp and husband Lee, of La Marque, Texas step daughter Debbie Krenik and husband, Mike her sister Wendy Varner and husband, Jim of Grants Pass, Oregon five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.
