JUANITA MARIE GILREATH

Juanita Marie Gilreath, 83, a longtime resident of Texas City, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2014. She was born January 12, 1931, in Lovelady, Texas to George and Bertha Holliday. Mrs. Gilreath retired after 29 years if service from Texas City High School as the Cafeteria Manager.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City. Burial will follow at Grace Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at the funeral home.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Farrell Richard Gilreath daughter, Richa Marie Clawson brother, R.H. Holliday sisters, Vera Harrelson, Florene Oaks, Helen Casey and Ruth Snyder.

Survivors include sons, David Gilreath and wife Pamela, Mark Gilreath soninlaw Bruce Clawson and wife Donna sister, Virginia Greene and husband Paul brother, Burnace Holliday Sr. and wife Patsy grandchildren, Danielle Pickering and husband David Chase Gilreath, Stephen Sahr, Kirk Clawson, Stephanie Crouch and Melissa Meyer 15 great grandchildren and canine companion Prissy II.

Pallbearers are Bruce Clawson, Chase Gilreath, Buck Holliday, David Pickering, Kirk Clawson, Charles Ray and Stephen Sahr. Honorary Pallbearers are Paul Greene and Devin Sahr.
