Joyce Talbert Earl our beloved mother, grandmother and aunt passed away May 17, 2016 at Bayou Pines in La Marque, Texas.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 20, 2016 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City.

Joyce was born December 20, 1927 in Sugartown, Louisiana. She retired from South Western Bell.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Jack Earl; brother, Joe Talbert; sister, Gertie Simmons and Nona Foote and son in law, Joe Chambers.

Survivors include her daughter, Jackie Chambers of Texas City; son, Mike and Kathy Earl of Hitchcock; grandson, Jonathan Chambers and Nikki of Dickinson; granddaughters, Amy and Joel Evans, Lisa and Jay Balentine and children, James and Taylor Trimble.

Pallbearers are Randy Talbert, Paul Simmons, Oly Dagestad and Kevin Gress. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Prewitt, Ronald Earl and Bob Foote.
