Joseph "Mike" Standley

Joseph Michael Standley, 70, passed away, Wednesday, October 13, 2021. He was a longtime resident of Texas City and a member of First Baptist Church.

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 17, 2021, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City. Visitation will be an hour prior from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Joseph, better known as Mike, was a member of the Pipefitters Local Union 211. He loved hunting, riding motorcycles, playing golf, poker, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, former Texas City Police Chief,  Joe M. Standley and mother Lois Standley.

He is survived by his sister Cheryl S. Conn; children Chane D Standley and wife Janet, Mistie Standley-Senter, Jacob M. Standley and Jonathan M. Standley; grandchildren Nathan S. Jenkins, Colby J. Standley, Caleb M. Senter and Madalynn D. Standley.
