Joseph "Joe" Massey

Joseph “Joe” Alan Massey, 60, of Texas City, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m., Friday, November 5, 2021, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City. Visitation will be an hour prior from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Joe was born July 14, 1961, in Galveston County Hospital, Texas City, Texas.  He was an electrician, EMS, and firefighter at Pasadena Chevron Phillips Refinery. He was a devoted husband, father, papa, son, and brother.

He is preceded in death by his father Charles Avis Massey;  brothers, David Lane Massey, Charles Frank Massey, Philip Lee Massey, and Paul Anthony Massey.

Survivors include his wife, Laura Massey; daughters Samantha Massey, and Taylor Massey; granddaughters Jadynn Walker, and Payton Wright; mother Margery Massey; sister Elizabeth Roberson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Honorary Pallbearers are Ted Linton, Cheri Linton, Danny Yeager, Tracy Delgado, Darrin Emert, Billy Persky, and Troy Guidry.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Brain Tumor Society.
