JOSEPHINE LARA GARZA

Josephine Lara Garza, 80, of Texas City passed away Friday, November 22, 2013 in Texas City.

Funeral services will be held 10 AM Tuesday, November 26, at St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be from 57 PM Monday at EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City with a Rosary at 7 PM.

Mrs. Garza was born March 20, 1933 in Sugarland.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eduardo and Jesusa Lara, her brother, Michael Lara sister and brotherinlaw, Angie and Bob Rodriguez and her sister, Cecilia Cadriel.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Tony Garza sons, John Garza and wife, Laura, Richard Garza and wife, Lanie, Thomas Garza and wife, Johna and Anthony Garza and wife, Renea daughter, Julia Vandiver and husband, Benton brothers Jesse Lara and wife, Elaine and Raymond Lara and wife, Golie sisters Leonor Garcia and husband, Julio and Hope Gonzales her sisterinlaw Gloria Lara and numerous grandchildren, other relatives and friends
