Jon Hof, Sr.

JON IRVIN HOF, SR.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jon I. Hof Sr. on Monday, October 7, 2013 at the age of 74. Mr. Hof was born in Houston on September 22, 1939, and was a 30 plus year resident of Texas City.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on October 15, 2013 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City, Texas. Visitation will be at 5:00 p.m. on October 15, 2013 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home.

Jon was a long time cable TV installer in Galveston County. In his later years he worked for OReilly Auto Parts as a driver and said it was the best job he ever had. Jon never met a stranger, and always gave more than he had to anyone in need.

Jon was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be dearly missed by everyone.

Mr. Hof is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Jerri sons Jon Hof Jr. and wife Vicky,
and Howard Hof and daughter Stacy McAdams. Jon is also survived by his grandsons Justin Westberg and Ryan and Tyler McAdams. He is also survived by his sister Alta and brother Kenneth, many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

The Hof family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Piazza, Dr. Godinich and Dr. Acharya and a very special thanks to Tina Blume.
