Johnny D. Franklin

On Saturday, August 12, 2023, Johnny D. Franklin passed away peacefully, in his sleep at his home.

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend.

At the age of twenty-one, Johnny was drafted into the army and spent two years working as a lineman. Two years later he married the love of his life, Emilie. He spent over twenty years of his life working as a shift supervisor in a chemical plant. He dedicated his life and all his hard work to his wife and daughter. Johnny loved working on cars and had a passion for classic Corvettes and Ford trucks. He enjoyed spending time near the water, loved boats and jet skiing. He also enjoyed family golf cart rides around the neighborhood. Johnny looked forward to the fall weather. He considered the first fall front the best day of the year.

Johnny is survived by his wife Emilie; daughter, Cheri and son-in-law Michael; grandson, Dalton; granddaughter, Alyssa and grandson-in-law Andrew; great grandson Harrison; and sisters, Angela and Suzanne.
