Jimmie Parish

Jimmie Lee Parish, 56, of Texas City, passed away Friday, October 5, 2012, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City with a visitation prior at 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M..

Jimmie was born December 30, 1955 in Lebanon, Missouri. He was a Boat Captain for American Commercial Lines by trade. He loved to go fishing and play with his grandkids on his days off.

He is preceded in death by his father Jimmie C. Parish.

Survivors include his wife Vanessa Parish son Jimmie Tyler Parish daughters Kellie Gates and husband John, Jessica Neimeyer and husband Chris, Shannon Mohr and husband Brian grandchildren Gavin, Madison and Caiden Neimeyer, Alexis Parish, and Justin and Stephen Gates mother Myrtle Reeves his brothers Edward, Jeffrey and Charles sisters Dena and Diana and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family would like to wish a special thanks to Jeffery and Courtney Parish, Charles Parish, Wayne Reinsch, Kenny and Melissa Smith, Terry and Tracey Johnson, and the Hospice Care Team.
