Jack Leon Tinsley, 79, passed away, Thursday, March 16, 2017. He fought the good fight and fought until the end.

Jack Tinsley was born December 11, 1937 in Oklahoma City. Jack graduated from Texas City high school and joined the United States Air Force. He began his career at Marathon Oil Refinery where he retired after 35 years. Jack was one of the original members of the Texas City Angler Club in 1972. He was also a member of the Masonic John Mitchell Lodge No 1401, AF&AM.

Jack leaves behind his beloved wife of 36 years, Ginger Tinsley; sister, Shelia Helms; children, Debbie Martin, David Tinsley, Tina and Larry Wiggins, Sidney II and Kristi Rambin, Dr. Lynn and Theresa Colbert and Danny Rambin; sixteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was loved by all and will surely be missed by many.

A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 22, 2017 with a visitation from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m., at Emken-Linton funeral home in Texas City, Texas.
