IRENE McKENZIE

Irene McKenzie, a long time Texas City resident, passed away October 8, 2013.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Emken Linton Funeral Home in Texas, City. Burial will follow at Forest Park East in Webster, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Woodrow McKenzie.

She had a long career as vice president of Mainland Bank and continued a close
friendship with many of her former coworkers after her retirement.

Survivors include daughter Carolyn Eden and husband Gary, son Ron McKenzie and wife Erlinda grandchildren Kevin Eden and wife Kim, Heather Hatcher and husband Joe, and John McKenzie great grandchildren Caleb and Chloe Eden and Hannah and Jonah Hatcher and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Heart to Heart Hospice, 1406 Halsey
Way, Suite 110, Carrollton, TX. 75007, or to a charity of your choice.
