Irene Hart

Irene A. Hart, 88, of La Marque, passed away Wednesday, January 04,2023.

Celebration of Life will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 27, 2023 at , at First United Methodist of La Marque.

She is preceded in death by her parents Adolph and Hulda Andreas of Brenham TX, her four siblings Eleanor Bray of Arkansas, Arno (Lucky) Andreas of La marque, TX, Bernice Cottrell of El Dorado, AR, Edgar Andreas of Austin TX, and husband Marvin Wayne Hart of La Marque, TX.

Survivors include her only child Harmon Wayne Hart of Burnet, TX.

Iene was born March 18,1934 in Brenham, Texas. She Graduated from Brenham high school 1952.  Attended Blinn college in Brenham. She went to work for American Oil in Texas City. Irene loved to work with her hands including quilting, candle making, gardening, and baking and cooking.  She taught piano and played the organ for the First United Methodist Church of La Marque for over 50 years.  She sang Barber Shop music and loved classical music.  She also played for weddings and funerals in the Galveston County area.
